Mixed Media Butterfly

Good Afternoon!

I have been experimenting with mixed media and find that I just love the end results!  Here is the card I made using embossing paste, gesso, acrylic paints and ink

Designer Steps:
  1. Use a cream A2 card base, cut a slightly smaller piece of black card stock and glue to the front
  2. Using a cross stitch die (MFT) cut the next piece using cream card stock.   With the cross stitched edges masked paint with white gesso and let dry
  3. Using inks (TH Broken Glass, Mustard, and Tattered Rose) sponge the background dry
  4. Add the white embossing paste over a stencil (TH) as shown and dry
  5. Using a hexagon die (TH) cut and ink with (TH Vintage) and glue to card front as shown
  6. Remove mask and ink edges with the Vintage also
  7. Using a Butterfly die (Memory Box) cut and ink wings color the body black
  8. Gently fold wings and glue dot to the card front
  9. Stamp sentiment ink and mat and glue to the card

Thanks for stopping by to take a peek!!

Blessings
